5 solo albums, mostly starting from partially written tracks or very basic ideas. Here’s where I’ll be tracking my progress. For the nerds out there I have 2 core metrics from a song perspective.
1 – Stage progress. 5 stages, from idea to finished and mastered.
2 – Effort progress. Not all stages take the same effort. Following a rough T&M study, I estimate 5% for idea, 15% to get to a scratch song, and 75% to have a complete recording. The rest is mixing and mastering.
